Thirsty Whale Tavern, Bar Harbor, ME

The Whale, as locals fondly call it, has been locally owned and operated since the doors opened in 1988. A lively, friendly blend of visitors and locals, it is kid friendly by day and a hot spot for fun at night. The Whale is also kid-friendly! While we do not have a kids’ menu, we do offer kid friendly options such as chicken fingers, fish and chips, grilled cheese, burgers and more. All selections come with a choice of either french fries, coleslaw or pasta salad. Crayons and coloring sheets are always on hand.
